Cheshire Outreach has grown from supporting one individual to now eight with varying needs. The small, but dedicated team have received a huge number of compliments for their work from family members and professionals.
Thanks to their commitment this has become a highly reputable service and has gone from strength to strength. Great teamwork has been evident under an inspirational manager and this has led to some great outcomes for the people they support.
Angela Swale Registered Manager said she “was quite shocked, but honoured to receive the award”.
Angela added that she is really proud of the fact that despite the issues with Covid-19, they were able to “sustain support throughout lockdown and beyond”.
In terms of the future the team are keen to build outreach even further and “to ensure that people who live in their own homes are not isolated from their community and they get the high quality support they deserve”.
Angela said it was a lovely day in a lovely venue and added:
“It is good to be recognised for our hard work and achievements. Staff morale has certainly been boosted at a time when it is most needed.”
