Staff from Restormel House attended Plymouth City Council’s Celebrating Excellence in Care Awards on Saturday and won!

Last year a lot of the ‘Achieve Together’ family attended a jam-packed day in East Molesey appreciating black culture and history.

Once a year staff and people we support nominate people for their achievements in different areas of life. The nominees are then invited to the People’s Awards ceremony to celebrate their success, where people receive awards, have a three-course meal and have a disco hosted by a person we support.

‘Books Beyond Words’ are a lovely company who publish picture books, which empower people through the use of images. Often, people who can’t read, or who don’t like written words, are very good at reading pictures.
