With no less than five nominations for Manager of the Month, Richard was a clear choice for our judges. His nominators come from various areas of the organisation and all speak of how willing and helpful he is and how promptly he responded to queries during the first months of our new payroll system. One said: “Nothing, no matter how minor or major, is a problem for him to support you with.”
Richard’s understanding of the role of Home Managers in checking pay was also cited as particularly valuable. Regional Manager, Jaymylee Colyer says: “It’s been exceptionally busy with the [payroll] changes, and the way overtime is paid. Each and every one of my managers has explained how fantastic the support has been from Richard.
“He has had so many queries and changes to make, yet he responds in such a swift time, making the time to help everyone. He’s an asset to the company, and I feel with his long-standing service, and responsive helpful nature, he really should be recognised.”
Richard says: “In what has been a challenging year with the transfer to a new HR and payroll system, I would like to thank everyone that nominated me for this award. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the rest of the payroll team and all my other team members who have worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth transfer to the new system.
“It is a wonderful feeling to be appreciated in this way, so thanks again.”
