Abi chose to take on Sheringham House in November 2022 as a ‘new challenge’. She was managing another home at the time but saw an opportunity to make a difference. Abi’s experience has been transformational at Sheringham House, and she continues to work tenaciously for the benefit of those living and working there.
In a brief time, she has recruited 12 new team members, embedding great working practices. Her leadership has created a positive culture and, as a result, people we support at Sheringham are now spending more time out in their community. Her approach has removed a few barriers giving people a better quality of life.
Abi said: “I would firstly like to thank and acknowledge the people who nominated me for Manager of the Month. I am truly honoured. A huge, big thank you from the bottom of my heart.
“I am passionate about my role and people I support. I could not do any of that without my team. I do, and always will, act in the best interest of those I support and the team members I have leadership for.”
