Steve, Manager from Trafalgar House was nominated for the positive impact he has made on his home and the lives of those he supports.

Steve has encouraged people he supports to become more active in the community and they now enjoy going to the open mic sessions once a week. He has encouraged and helped one person into employment as a waiter; something this individual would have really struggled with previously. Steve motivated another person who has a passion for art to enter a competition. This resulted in them winning and having their artwork displayed in the town centre and a visit from the Mayor.

In addition, another person supported by Steve at Trafalgar House has had their PRN medication decreased by 70% and episodes of aggression towards others have decreased by 90%. This person is now enjoying visiting a day centre once a week,  something that would never have happened before.

Steve truly lives and breathes the values of our organisation,  he has really changed the culture in the home and the positive impact he has had on the lives of those he supports is highly commendable.

Well done Steve on all you have achieved and being our well-deserved Employee of the Month.
