What we offer
A safe and supportive place
Springfield House is located in the beautiful seaside town of Birchington. The property is comprised of 10 bedrooms, all of which have an en-suite bathroom. Five bedrooms are on the ground floor, and five are on the first floor. Shared spaces at Springfield House include the large, open-plan lounge and dining room, a smaller additional lounge and a large, fully-fitted kitchen.
The property has a secure rear garden, with a log cabin that is used as a sensory room or an activity room. The garden also has a trampoline and patio area.
Springfield House is a five-minute walk to the town centre and a two-minute walk from the seafront. There is a train station five minutes walk away, and Birchington has good links to Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs.
We’re not just participants. We’re planners, presenters, and leaders.

Lifestyle
Springfield House offers a range of activities which help to promote increased independence and facilitate people’s transition into supported or independent living.
Budgeting, cooking, meal planning and cleaning sessions are offered at the home. The location of Springfield House means that people often take trips to the seafront and town centre, which also helps to integrate them more into the local community.
Other activities include bowling, trampolining, beach walks, bike riding, college, sports, cooking, arts and crafts.
