About this home

Hillview is a residential home for adults with severe learning disabilities, complex needs including behaviours that may challenge, restricted mobility, sight impairment, emotional needs, complex health needs and epilepsy.

People at the home are supported through person-centred planning, which is tailored towards individual needs and focuses on positive outcomes that lead to greater independence and confidence. The Team support people to engage with the local community through taking part in a variety of meaningful and enriching activities. Hillview offers 24-hour care, seven days a week, and the trained team enable people to meet their goals and wishes with an individualised approach.

What we offer

Hillview is a large, six-bedroom detached property in East Sussex. People have their own personalised bedroom and share a communal kitchen/diner and spacious lounge. Both the bathroom and shower room are fully fitted wet rooms with adapted bathing and showering facilities to meet physical needs. People also enjoy the fenced courtyard and spacious gardens, which are fully wheelchair accessible.

Hillview is fully wheelchair accessible to meet the needs of everyone living here, with the home being set across one floor.

Hillview is a short walk away from Polegate train station and local shops, a ten-minute drive from the seafront and right next to Sussex Downs. There are also good bus routes to Eastbourne town centre.

Lifestyle

People at Hillview can enjoy a wide range of activities, including gardening, day centre activities, communication and transport college, cinemas, theatres, swimming, sensory rooms, cooking/baking and music sessions, to name a few.

People are also supported to go on day trips and holidays.

The team host various events throughout the year, such as tea parties and barbecues.
