About this support setting

Thoughtfully designed for independent living

We pride ourselves on offering a safe, happy and relaxing place to live. In this home we like to customise the environment to reflect each person’s personal style through colours, artwork, photos and sensory lights. We like things to be homely, not clinical, and work with the people we support to make the home their own.

Each day here is fulfilled and different, trying new ideas and activities, encouraging the people we support out of their comfort zones to achieve things they may not have thought possible.

Out of the home we plan lots of trips, either 1 on 1, in small groups or as a whole home to local leisure venues or further afield to zoo’s, the New Forest or other tourist attractions. We also support people to take holidays in the UK and abroad.

Lifestyle

Set back from the main road and with a large driveway and garden, this home offers a quiet and spacious location. The high street and local shopping centre are within walking distance and there is a good range of public transport options, plus we have a dedicated vehicle for trips.

There are plenty of local attractions including leisure centres, bowling, cinema, cafes and restaurants, plus a range of tourist attractions like Legoland, Marwell Zoo, QE2 centre and Portsmouth Dockyards a short distance away. For people that enjoy nature there are local parks, nature reserves and beaches nearby.

The team support people to explore, attend and maintain educational/ employment placements and courses and any chosen leisure activities.
