Lee has been recognised for the huge impact he made during Covid. Lee is very approachable and has a wonderful relationship with the people he supports. He fills the home with so much fun and laughter and has led the team through the hardest of times.
Lee said he was very surprised to win the Award and felt very ‘humbled and proud’. He said that the last 18 months have been exceptionally challenging, but despite this he and the team have managed to ensure continuity of care for the people they support.
Lee supported several teams who sadly experienced deaths in their services. He always has time for people no matter how busy he is himself. Lee is very modest about all that he does and has received much praise and recognition from his team.
Lee says what he most enjoys about his job is:
“Getting out in the services, being able to offer face to face support to team members and managers and being able to work with some of the amazing people we support”.
Lee really enjoyed the awards and said it was great to be able to listen to incredible work that has been achieved by the many other services around the country.
