Paragon is our training provider for the workplace-based apprenticeships that we offer to all team members. The fully-funded apprenticeships form part of our Career Adventures Pathway. At present, there are around 400 people in the organisation on the apprenticeship programme, with the majority studying for Health & Social Care levels 2-5.
Apprenticeships are now also available to Central Function teams offering subjects such as Operational Management, Administration and Project Management. Our Learning and Development Manager receives around 10-15 applications per month.
This is the second year of the Paragon Skills Apprenticeship Awards, designed to recognise and reward the achievements of exceptional apprentices and apprenticeship employers. They highlight and celebrate the commitment, hard work, and achievements of both apprentices and the contribution of their employers.
Head of Learning & Development, Gary Cloke, said: “At Achieve together, apprenticeships form a key part of helping our team members progress through what we call Career Adventures. We are proud to use Paragon supporting many of our team members to complete their apprenticeships and very pleased to be a finalist for this award.”
