About this home

Thorpe House is a specialist residential home for up to 11 adults with learning disabilities, autism and other neurodivergent conditions. People may present with complex communication difficulties, sensory processing issues, behaviours which may challenge or secondary mental health conditions. Located within its own spacious grounds, the home offers a safe, supportive environment where people are empowered to live as independently as possible. Accommodation is provided in the form of nine self-contained flats and one shared flat, each with its own bathroom, promoting autonomy and privacy.

The home supports adults and is designed for longer-term support. A dedicated, person-centred approach underpins all aspects of life at Thorpe House, supported by a regional clinical team including multiple healthcare professionals. The home is committed to delivering the right support, and right culture – ensuring dignity, choice, and inclusion for every person supported.
