Penny Meadow Life Skills Centre in Colchester underwent an extraordinary transformation in October. It became Hogwarts School for the day!
People supported at Penny Meadow, as well as nearby Clacton homes, joined the fun.
Everyone was sorted into houses by the sorting hat before taking part in lessons which included wand making in the Forbidden Forest, potions lessons, broomstick making and much, much more. Pupils were treated to a banquet in the great hall under a ceiling of floating candles.
The day ended with the winning house being announced and a trip to Honeydukes Sweet shop. Achieve Together CEO Zak Houlahan even swooped in on his broomstick to join in all the fun. Everyone had a magical and spellbinding day.
