At the start of April people came together to walk in support of Autism Acceptance Week (27 March – 2 April). The fundraising initiative was led by Campaign 4 Change and Unity Representatives. People we support, along with team members, were encouraged to dress as their favourite fictional characters or real-life people with autism.
Two walks were arranged, the first a 5km distance in Hyde Park, London, the second in Shaftesbury, Dorset. Everyone enjoyed the fine weather and each other’s company whilst doing something good for the community! Between them, they managed to raise £110 for Ambitious about Autism and £225 for Autscape.
